
The Fringe Arts Group will be holding an Art, Craft & Design Conference on
Friday 19th August 2011, which will include: seminars and presentations by
industry speakers; marketplace for artists' work and art, craft and design
supplies; creative workshops; an open art, craft and design exhibition and
competition; live art board and other interactive events.
If you are from an educational organisation, the conference will be an ideal
event for CPD & networking with artists who may be able to work with you.
The Fringe arts networking group are excited to be hosting such a fantastic
event for the region, the first of its kind in the Doncaster area.
Venue: Hatfield Visual Arts College, Doncaster
Date: Friday 19th August 10-6pm
Stands: £45 (Fringe members £30)
Tickets: £8 (concessions £4)
Open Art Submission: £5/entry (concessions £2.50)

Open Art Competition & Exhibition Enter art, craft or design pieces into the
open art competition. Entry is £5 per piece (per 3 pieces if Fringe member),
or £2.50 for students. Three categories are: Fine Art/Photography, Graphic
Design/Illustration and Craft. Each category winner will be awarded a prize.
Live Art Sue Caulfield, sculptor, will be producing body castings from a
female model throughout the day. Final pieces will be sold in aid of Hull
Arts, a non-profit organisation for artistic endeavour.
